BioDigital Human - 3D Anatomy App Reviews

Great when it works

Crashing lately for some reason but was quite useful previously.

Default to 3G download

Chose some items to view but app crashes on each attempt to open them. On reviewing settings it was set to use 3G which is not currently active on my iPad. Working now.

Terrible

Very buggy. This app is also very limited in detail. There are no surface features of bones or any way to study the foramina of the skull. Could go on and on.

Buyer Beware

If you are a student in an anatomy class, this will not be useful to you. Its as if the people creating this app couldnt be bothered to get anything right. Structures are missing or mislabeled, and the graphics arent clear enough to make the 3D interface anything worthwhile (unless you just like zooming in on a blur of color). Losing $9.99 to a disappointing app isnt the end of the world, but, as you can tell, I felt compelled to let anyone else thinking about purchasing the "premium models" know that it isnt any better than what you get in the free version. My favorite misnomer so far is their labeling of the arector pili muscle the "muscle moving hair."

Solid education tool

We provide training for HCPs, and this tool is the current best way to visualize treatments as well as conditions and provides a glimpse of what medical reference and education is to become.

This app has been extremely useful communication tool. Great update!

Great graphics crashes frequently

Graphics are great when I can download them and they actually work. Very frustrating trying to use the app to show a patient affected anatomy due to FREQUENT CRASHES.

Amazing

Incredible detail and unbelievable amount of anatomy and disease models available to download. All fully interactive. Powerful learning tool

Good stuff, unique cloud connected 3D platform

The team did an awesome job with this latest version, very slick. So many more conditions now available. You can look at a model on the browser, make annotations or a tour the night before a session, then retrieve on the iPhone the next day. This makes having an iOS device a fundamental tool in learning about anatomy & pathology for on-demand just in time learning. More animations in this version.

Beware

Ok, Its Helpful But Beware There Are Some Nasty Parts In This App, Otherwise Amazing!

Very good

Its a useful app.
